We have always adores all things culinary. In Belgium, we frequently and happily cooked for family and friends. So, we just continued that tradition in our B&B and now cook for our guests instead. Sometimes you’ll find Dirk behind the stove, other times Martine, but, in the main, we do all your cooking together.
At Los Montes, the day starts at between 9 and 11 a.m. with a delectable, varied breakfast, and every day we also have a different, extra treat for you in store. Fancy a soft-boiled egg? As with any special culinary request, all you need to do is ask. If at all possible we are more than happy to oblige.
You can enjoy a relaxing breakfast in our breakfast room or on one of our two connecting terraces. Needless to say, we will gladly rise earlier if you’d prefer to make an early start, because you are setting off on a day trip for instance. And if you wish, we can also prepare you a packed lunch for your journey.
We do not serve lunch but we are always delighted to prepare you a delicious snack to combat any sudden hunger pangs the swimming pool may bring about. Rustling up a croque-monsieur or panini takes no effort at all and there is always a good chance that there may be a scrumptious lasagne bubbling away in the oven.
About three times a week, our culinary skills are given free reign and we serve a three-course menu, organize an enjoyable barbeque, serve tapas … or a delectable Spanish paella. For the latter local speciality we always call on the expertise of one of our Spanish friends from a nearby village. Anyone who’s interested can simply pull up a chair.
